Der Bildatlas der Moose ist eine Sammlung von Bildtafeln aller Laubmoose
Deutschlands, auf denen neben einem Habitusbild, zumeist am Standort
aufgenommen, auch alle für die Bestimmung der Arten benötigten
Details in Makro- und Mikrofotografie dargestellt sind. Soweit nicht
anders auf den Tafeln vermerkt, stammen alle Fotografien, das Layout
und der Satz von Michael Lueth selbst. Auf Texte wurde in den Tafeln
verzichtet, da sie als Ergänzung zu den bestehenden Bestimmungsbüchern
gedacht sind, wie eine Kombination aus Exsikkaten- und Dauerpräparatensammlung.

Die Nomenklatur der Arten richtet sich überwiegend nach der Referenzliste
der Moose Deutschlands (KOPERSKI et al. 2000), in einigen Fällen
nach MEINUNGER & SCHRÖDER (2007), wo neue Arten und Erkenntnisse
dies erfordern.

The Bildatlas der Moose is a collection of plates of all mosses growing
in Germany, composed of a habitus image, in most cases photographed
at the growth site, and besides close-ups and photomicrographs of all
details necessary for determination. If not stated otherwise, all photography,
layout and typeset is by Michael Lueth himself. Since the plates, similar
to a combined collection of exsiccata and permanent slides, are intended
as a complement to existing guides, text was considered dispensible.

Several persons helped with the realisation of this project, by loan

many excellent specimens of difficult species, and he critically checked
